What is diabetes?
Diabetes mellitus also known as diabetes is a disease that causes high blood sugar. Natural producing hormone insulin produced in the body and moves sugar from the blood to the cells which are stored or used for energy. A diabetic person’s body cannot make enough insulin or cannot use it, but through enough treatment about the disease, a person can control diabetes.

Take this test early in the morning. If Fasting blood glucose level is over 125, it shows you have diabetes.
This is a blood test that tells the average blood sugar level for the past 3 months. If the result of Hba1c is over 6.5 it means you are diabetic.
Oral glucose tolerance test
Drink a beverage that contains glucose and the glucose level in blood is checked every 30 to 60 minutes. If at 2 hours glucose level is 200 mg is a clear symptom you are having diabetes.
