How to boost Immunity?

As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the world. Almost everyone is worried as there is no vaccine available in the market that can treat or save us from COVID-19 or coronavirus. Today there are more than 8.6 million COVID-19 infected persons in 213 countries of the world. Almost ½ million people lost their lives. But there is a 90% to 96% survival chance in case of corona infection. Many medicines are being used as a trial against COVID-19. Some medicines have shown positive results like hydroxychloroquine, which was believed as life-saving medicines for covid-19 infected patients. Still, these medicines failed to give amazing results next drug which was used is actemra injections, and according to the latest reports WHO (world health organization) stated that a cheap medicine named dexamethasone is giving excellent results and many patients with the critical illness have shown positive results. But still, we have to wait for dexamethasone results.

Most COVID-19 patients don’t need any medication. They can get recover themselves because their body produces antibodies against coronavirus, and these antibodies kill the virus. I am going to discuss some foods that every one of us must eat to boost immunity

Garlic

Garlic is a superfood; it consists of natural antioxidants and works as a natural medicine to keep your body fit. Garlic is excellent for heart health, and it is also used to treat High Blood Pressure. In my opinion, Garlic is used almost in every food in the world. Most health experts suggest that you should eat one clove of Garlic in the morning.

Vitamin c

Vitamin C is a great immunity booster; all citrus foods Lemon, Oranges, Limes, Grapefruits, etc. are full of vitamin c. You can try lemon water every day. Vitamin C plays an important role in the production of WBCs (white blood cells), and these WBCs protect our body from infections. If you are not getting enough vitamin c from the food, you can try vitamin c supplements; if you have any medical problems like heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, etc., don’t use these supplements without consulting with your doctor.

Ginger

Ginger is another great thing that can help you to boost your immunity. Ginger is easily available and is not expensive. Ginger reduces inflammation and also helps against nausea. Ginger also has pain lowering and cholesterol-lowering properties. Ginger tea tastes very great, and you can also add lemon in ginger tea to make it tastier, or you can use ginger in the salad.

Almonds

Almond is full of vitamin E and Vitamin c. Almond is full of healthy cholesterol, which protects the heart from diseases. You should eat 7-8 Almond nuts every day. If you want to get some extra power and vitamins, add ½ teaspoon of honey and eat these delicious honey-soaked almonds. This combination is going to boost your immunity, and you are going to get many benefits.

Yogurt

In my opinion, almost every country and culture of the world is aware of the benefits of yogurt. Yogurt is a great source of vitamin D and having too much antioxidant. Instead of flavored yogurt, you should try plain yogurt. As flavored yogurt is full of sugar, which is bad for the immune system, you can use yogurt with fruits.

All these foods are going to boost your immune system. There are a lot of other foods like Spinach, Mint, Sunflower seeds, Turmeric, and many more things; I will suggest you use fresh vegetables and fruits and limit eating chicken and beef products. If you have any medical conditions like High Blood pressure or diabetes, keep it in control. Eat healthily and stay fit.
